Founder Chris Brown has over 20 years of experience programming live band and DJ-led festivals and events. ABouT UNIVERSAL EVENTS
Universal Events & Festivals was founded by Chris Brown who has over 20 years experience running live music shows, club events and festivals. He began his music career by setting up and running the famous Universal Nation organised events which took place all over England and culminated in the a huge World Dance vs World Dance which took place at Wembley Arena. Since then his impressive CV includes hundreds of successful indoor and outdoor music events both in the UK and aboard featuring live band and DJ-led act from across genres. From 1999 to 2007 he co-ran full season residencies and one-off parties in Ibiza help in famous venues such as Space, Eden, Es Paradis and The Zoo.
For the past ten years Chris has been the exclusive talent booker and production consultant the The UK's largest indoor festival, The Big Reunion. His solid experience and industry contact meand he is currently able to book headline acts such as Dizzee Rascal, Tinchy Stryder, Pendulum, Eddie Halliwell, Tinie Tempah, Example, Chase n Status, Judge Jules , Toddla T to name a few. He's also been the main promoter liason with well known club brands such as Hed Kandi, Tidy, Kissdafunk, Goodgreef, Judgement Sundays , Riot!, RWD and many more.In 2010 Chris also was in charge of production and talents bookings for the first ever Big Snow Festival held over 5 days in Andorra.
Chris is also one of the exclusive talent booker and production consultant for the the three day Run To The Sun festival which takes place every year in Newquay. He is also one of the main promoters of one the first week long Sunbeatz Drum & Bass festival holidays which took place in Ibiza over seven nights, an event which is scheduled to return to Ibiza in 2011.
When not organising big festival events Chris also runs a successfull weekly Thursday Remix parties presented by XFM DJ Eddy Temple-Morris at the Proud Galleries in London which presents a mixture of DJs and live bands. He is also co-owner of the Riot! hard house brand and co-director of UAA Ltd Artist Agency.
